Your role

  • Software Testing & Test Cases: Design and implement individual test strategies for your team’s features. Identify and implement the most suitable test types and levels. Write comprehensive test cases and apply various testing techniques, including for performance and security testing.
  • Test Automation & CI/CD: Develop and maintain test scripts using Cypress, REST APIs, k6, ChaosMesh and other frameworks. Define smoke tests and identify necessary tests for particular changes (e.g. using risk-based approaches).
  • System Performance: Ensure the high performance of our applications through thorough testing and performance assessments.
  • Technical Innovation: Contribute to the introduction of new test automation capabilities and tools, continuously updating your skills in software quality.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with software development teams and product management to design test cases, plan test runs, and develop automation tools. Actively participate in team meetings, contributing to the continuous improvement of testing processes. Mentor junior engineers and guide the team in best practices.
  • Failure Analysis: Apply strong analytical skills to determine the cause of automated test failures, providing detailed diagnostics and working with development teams to resolve issues.

Requirements

  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in test automation and a solid understanding of software development lifecycles and testing methodologies.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in E2E test frameworks (e.g. Cypress), manual testing, TypeScript and core web technologies (HTML, REST).
    • Familiarity with Git/GitLab, JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA or VSCode and knowledge of Angular, Kubernetes and Docker
    • Experience in both frontend (Angular) and backend (Spring) testing.
    • Passion for writing clean code using established patterns and strong analytical thinking.
  • Certifications: ISTQB CTAL-TAE certification or equivalent practical experience is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and a collaborative mindset. Leadership and strategic thinking skills are essential for senior roles.

Due to legal requirements, we are obliged to point out that the collective agreement minimum salary for this position starts at a gross annual salary at around €43,078. We offer an overpayment (even significant ones) which is based on your individual qualifications and professional experience.
