Description

We are a specialty vaccine company that develops, manufactures, and commercializes prophylactic vaccines for infectious diseases addressing unmet medical needs.

We have leveraged our expertise and capabilities both to commercialize three vaccines, including the world’s first and only chikungunya vaccine, and to rapidly advance a broad range of vaccine candidates into and through the clinic, including candidates against Lyme disease, Shigella and Zika.

Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a motivated QC Support Intern (m/f/d) to join our team in Vienna for 6 months. In detail you will be working 10h/week on tasks such as:

  • Supporting the Quality Control-team in their day-to-day administrative requests
    • Handling of administrative work, such as scanning, filling and generation of documents (e.g. test certificates, stability tables) in Sample Management group
    • Collection of analytical data as part of laboratory investigation
    • Archiving of documents
  • Participate in meetings where possible to learn how to upgrade your communication skills
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor degree or any Education in a relevant scientific field
  • Excellent organization skills and documentation management
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proactive, accurate and reliable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English - German language is a plus
  • Flexible in terms of time, as Thursday (6h) and Friday (4h) are preferred as working days - tbd in person

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 27.300- gross per year based on full-time employment. The position is limited for 6 months with the option for continuation.
